New Plumbing

Hi everyone, Jeff again. Most importantly, surgery today went really well. The work performed by the cardiovascular surgeons was complex. They repaired several parts of the aorta that had aneurysms as well as replaced the failed aortic valve. She had a phenomenal team caring for her.

Melissa is in the ICU, still intubated (ventilator helping her breathe), and sleeping. It is early days and all of this helps her recover.

Prayers are appreciated that there will be no bleeding in the areas that were repaired and that the process to wake her up will go smoothly.
