Surgery scheduled

The endovascular surgery will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, afternoon.

The head of vascular surgery and the head of interventional radiology have the Operating Room booked for tomorrow afternoon. The procedure will take a few hours.

As we mentioned previously, the vascular surgeon has done two similar procedures where he used coils to get the pseudo aneurysm to embolize, or clot off. This doctor has only been at this hospital since January. If this had happened last year, there would not have been someone here who could perform this surgery. This isn't a coincidence - God's timing is perfect.

I will be under general anesthesia. And, as with all surgeries, there are risks. But, we feel like this surgery is how I keep fighting. I want the best chance at living my life "my way", which means not living in fear. So I will keep fighting, because I can do hard things. (Philippians 4:13)

Please keep our family in your prayers tomorrow and the days to come. Please pray for my medical team and everyone caring for me. May God's hand be evident throughout the prep, surgery and recovery.

We have been so blessed by all the encouragement: texts, phone calls, visits, gift cards, gifts, prayers, cards, etc.
