Room with a View

On Friday, Melissa moved to a room in the cardiac ICU. Since the infection is now primarily in her chest and around the aortic graft, the cardiac surgery team wants to be able to monitor her closely. The last few days have mostly been waiting. IV antibiotics continue while the team of doctors discuss, evaluate, and formulate a plan for dealing with the infection in Melissa's chest. We are hoping and praying for a solid plan to develop over the next couple of days.

In the meantime, the view of the city is pretty great.
