Stability

After a night of lots of medication changes and dealing with atrial fibrillation (a-fib), today has been a very stable day for Melissa. She is still sedated and ventilated to give her heart time to rest. This will continue through the weekend. It would be really nice to talk to her right now, but I understand the need to let her body rest.

If you are a praying person, you can pray for:

  • Blood pressure and heart rhythms to stay normal tonight (and moving forward, but tonight is a good start 🙂)

  • Melissa to be comfortable and get good rest

  • Monday would begin the process of weaning off sedation and the vent

  • Again, gratitude for the amazing staff here

Very gracious of you to share this very difficult time.
