I am home! after 77 days since my open heart surgery. I am able to walk with the walker, do stairs, and do most self care tasks independently - rehab therapy success! I will be going to outpatient day rehab starting on Tuesday to continue my progress. I will also have to follow up with a few doctors.
My marathon finish today coincides with the Chicago Marathon. Jeff was on track to run this year until he became my constant companion and support. He plans to run again next year.
